"Really nice place to spend time away from busy schedules. Found it suitable for both families and bachelor's. It's located a bit interior but that adds to the perks of having a quiet and calm atmosphere. The service and cleanliness is excellent especially the boat ride. Thoroughly enjoyed the sunset. Food makes you feel like home."

"A very calm and quiet place to stay. One side is a river and spending hours sitting on the banks listening to some music or without music is not at all a problem. Room is well maintained and cleaned. All necessary  toiletries are available. Hospitality is really welcoming. They will provide a 2hr boating through the small streams to Valiyaparamba backwaters is one of the best and which is cheap also."

"We had a long road travel all the way from Bangalore to kasargod but all our tiredness vanished as we saw the river side candle hut homestay . We had booked only two rooms but Suresh had one vacant room so he offered it for our driver without asking for any extra money + the breakfast was very yummy and nutritious I would recommend the home stay for anyone either family or bachelors !!!it has fantastic view of back water"

"Excellent well maintained place to relax with great views of backwaters. Definitely a must visit - you spend all day lazing on the hammock while you watch the calm backwaters.
